A self taught artist, John Hutson was born in California, raised in Texas, and now resides in Taos, NM.  A contemporary folk artist, John’s paintings and sculptures have the simplicity of Grandma Moses and the complexity of southwest spiritual   indian art.  His sculptures are created from the very adobe that is the main construction material of the Taos area.
